La première fois que j’ai vu la vidéo de Gherasim Luca en racontant ce type de poésie, j’étais perdue. C’est un poète qui travaille avec la poésie sonore. La semaine dernière ma professeur m’a présentée le défi de commencer une discussion par rapport à la poésie sonore. Elle voulait qu’on aille chercher la profondeur dans le rythme de ce poème grâce à l’auteur. Tout au long du poème on peut entendre sa difficulté à arriver à la phrase je t’aime passionnément. Honnêtement, je ne suis pas une grande admiratrice de la poésie surréaliste mais l’idée que Luca a créé un œuvre d’art par rapport à la difficulté de partager cette sensation avec quelqu’un a piqué ma curiosité.
Il ne présente pas un amour fugace. Il joue le rôle d’une personne qui connait le chagrin et qui choisit le bonheur. Il présente un amour sage. L’idée qu’il y ait toujours la passion entre deux individus après ils connaissent leurs habitudes et cela a une grand valeur. Il y a de la beauté dans le fait de se connaitre depuis si longtemps. Dans ce type d’amour la manière dont on se brosse les dents ou le type de pantoufles qu’on portent ou le volume à laquelle on chante la musique dans la douche comptent. C’est evident que dans la vie les choses controversées arrivent entre un couple, mais l’idée que des petites choses qui gênent seront effacées à cause de l’importance et l’amour pour le caractère entier de quelqu’un me stupéfie.
Dans cette photo, je ressentis leur reconnaissance pour l’un et l’autre. Ils jouent dans cette photo. L’amour entre cette femme et cet homme est déchiffré par les regards qu’ils partageaient. Ils sont à l’aise. Tous les étages dans le voyage d’amour ont leur propre beauté, mais le confort entre ces deux individus m’a aidé comprendre la profondeur de la sensation d’amour. Les moments d’amour se passent entre les couples, entre un père et sa fille, entre une famille entière, entre une femme et son enfant à naître, et je pense qu’il n’y a pas un plus beau cadeau que d’avoir l’opportunité de garder ces moments.
Venir au studio chez Sophie, c’est s’offrir de garder en photo ces moments d’amour, de les vivre lors de la séance et de les conserver sur papier dans un album ou un tableau au mur !

The first time I saw Gherasim Luca’s video speaking this type of poetry, I was lost. He is a poet who works with sound poetry. Last week my teacher presented me with the challenge of starting a discussion about sound poetry. She wanted us to have sought depth in the rhythm of this poem related to the author. Throughout the poem one can hear his difficulty in arriving to the phrase I love you passionately. Honestly, I’m not a big admirer of surrealist poetry, but the idea that Luca created a work of art about the difficulty of sharing that feeling with someone sparked my curiosity.
He does not present a fleeting love. He plays the role of a person who knows heartbreak and chooses happiness. He presents a wise love. The idea that there is still passion after two individuals know their partner’s habits has great value. There is something beauty in the duration that they know each other. In this type of love, the way we brush our teeth or the type of slippers we wear or the volume we sing music in the shower does not matter. It is obvious that in life the controversial things happen between a couple, but the idea that small things that get in the way will be erased because of the importance and love for the whole character of someone amazes me.
In this photo, I felt their appreciation for one and other. They are playing in this picture. Sophie captured that moment during a pregnancy photo shoot with their children, so there was no intention of capturing the happiness of this particular couple. The love between this woman and this man is deciphered by the looks they shared. They are at ease. All stages in the journey of love have their own beauty, but the comfort between these two individuals helped me understand the depth of the feeling of love. These moments of love are between couples, between a father and his daughter, between an entire family, between a woman and her unborn child, and I think there is no better gift than to have the opportunity to save those moments.
